We Have Two Ways to Help.
NKY Auto will either buy your car outright for cash, or sell it on consignment — whichever puts more money in your pocket.
Both options are open to cars with a Kentucky title problem that would otherwise be in good running condition and ready for the road. Whether it's a KY Red Title, a Junk certificate, a Scrap or Destruction title, a Parts Only designation, or a Bill of Sale — if the car runs and drives well, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for cars that would be good to put directly on our front line and sell — vehicles that run and drive well, look decent, and are only held back by a title designation. No major mechanical issues, no major body damage — just a title problem.
Title Types We Accept
If your car has one of these Kentucky title designations, reach out — we may be able to help.
Kentucky Red Title
Kentucky-branded titles that make a vehicle difficult to register or sell through conventional channels.
Junk Certificate
Issued when a vehicle has been declared a junk vehicle. We evaluate these on a case-by-case basis.
Scrap or Destruction Title
Vehicles assigned a scrap or destruction designation that have not actually been scrapped or destroyed.
Parts Only
Cars designated for parts only — but if the vehicle still runs and drives, we want to know about it.
Bill of Sale
Vehicles where a proper title was never issued or was lost — sold on a bill of sale only.
We Are NOT Looking For Wrecked or Damaged Cars
Neither option applies to wrecked, damaged, flooded, burned, or mechanically compromised vehicles. We already source those types of cars through Copart and IAAI for our rebuild program.
What we are looking for are cars that a buyer could pick up, drive away, and that we could put straight on our lot — cars that run great and look decent, but are simply burdened with a title that prevents a normal sale.
